reliable systems.

I'm Kingsley — a software engineer focused on React, design systems, and the UI details that make products feel fast and intentional. Five years in, still curious.

Digital banking platform frontend with feature-based architecture and a centralised authenticated HTTP client
Leading frontend development for the bank’s digital banking platform. Designed a feature-based architecture where each page owns its own data fetching, with all backend communication routed through a centralised authenticated HTTP client — auth, error handling, and logging in one place. Built resilient error and loading states and a reusable component library across banking surfaces.

about

I'm Kingsley — a frontend engineer with a background in mechanical engineering who found his way into UI. I build design-centric React and Next.js applications with a strong eye for the details that make interfaces feel fast and intentional.

I care about component architecture, accessible design, and the kind of performance work users actually notice. I write things down before I build them, keep codebases tidy, and mentor junior engineers when I get the chance.

Outside work: football, music, and a reading list that never gets shorter.

what I do

four ways I tend to work with teams.

/01
frontend engineering
Production-grade React and Next.js applications. SSR, code-splitting, and the performance details that keep users from leaving.
/02
design systems
Component libraries that scale across products without becoming a maintenance burden. Figma-to-code, design tokens, and documentation.
/03
fintech & banking UI
Digital banking platforms, settlement flows, and admin dashboards built with the accuracy and security posture that financial software demands.
/04
performance audits
Bundle analysis, render profiling, and a prioritised list of what to fix first. No full rewrite required — usually.
